Today's assignment is pretty simple.  You need to continue your research.  This should be an ongoing thing.  I will update the comments in this message as I think of reminders over the next couple of hours.  I made a table of topics.  You can find it here.  If there is not topic listed by your name, please copy and paste your topic into the document.  (This time you are actually editing the document, not making a copy.)  The only other thing you need to do today is take the Getting to Know MLA Quiz.  You can look for the answers on the this website, I do not expect you to know this stuff.  Y'all are doing GREAT; keep it up.  Comment below any questions you have as they may help others.

AP Students should use only one work to respond to the prompt they have chosen- a single novel or play. This is part of the "preparing a work" plan. Enriched students have more wiggle-room with this. Please message me if you are having trouble.

It is in green. It wasn't linked- but it is now.

So are we using multiple novels/plays to answer the prompt? Or are we just using one novel/play and researching and finding a bunch of secondary sources? For example, using both Silas Marner and The Great Gatsby, both with outside sources, to answer the prompt or just using only Silas Marner to answer the prompt with many outside sources to back you up.

My AP kids have to use only one. everybody else can do either.... but if you use more than one- they need to be connect to each other somehow. (Same author, time period, something)

Ignore the half-naked men on the front of the books.  These actually were some quick, funny reads.  And I have a point.  READ.... it doesn't matter if it an award-winning novel or a trashy romance, JUST READ.  It exercises your brain and gets you outta the house when you can't actually get outta the house.
